I grew up writing: making up stories on my own time, attending numerous classes and workshops, and getting creative with my high school and college assignments. I started work as an assistant producer at New York magazine at their new website in 1998; during my four years there, I became associate producer, and wrote articles that appeared in print and online.
Since then, my work has appeared in numerous publications including the New York Times, Parents, Family Circle, BuzzFeed, Vulture, Latina, USA Today, and many more.
A sometime-not-usually-just-a-couple-of-times actress, I starred in the 2006 feature film Day Night Day Night, which won numerous awards including the Prix Regards Jeune at the Cannes Film Festival. The following year I appeared in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s short film, Anna.
