As an actress, Luisa appeared as the lead character (known only as “She”) in the 2006 award-winning feature film Day Night Day Night (Official selection: Telluride Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival, among others; Winner Prix Regards Jeune, Cannes Film Festival; Best Feature Narrative, Woodstock Film Festival; nominated for Gotham Independent Film Award nominee, Breakthrough Actor and EDA Female Focus Award nominee, Best Newcomer). She also starred as Anna in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s 2007 short film Anna (part of Chacun son Cinéma, a collection of 33 shorts by various directors created to celebrate the anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival).
